Meet Karen Hohlweck
Welcome. I'm Karen Hohlweck, a Certified Mindfulness Teacher dedicated to helping people cultivate greater presence, self-compassion, and connection in their daily lives.
My journey to mindfulness began through my own experiences with loss, grief, and life's challenges. Over time, mindfulness became more than a practice—it became a way of meeting life with greater awareness, compassion, and courage.
I completed my mindfulness teacher certification through the Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley and the Awareness Training Institute founded by Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. My additional training includes Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), Compassion Cultivation Training (CCT), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
Today, I offer mindfulness classes, workshops, speaking engagements, and retreats for individuals, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and organizations seeking practical tools for resilience, well-being, and meaningful connection.
My intention is simple: to create a welcoming space where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and come home to the present moment.
